2 - Summary - Using Web Photo Galleries

1 - make sure the pictures are the same size and in the proper folders
  • 1. To do this exercise, I made sure that all the pictures used are the same size in width and height.
  • 2. The first time I tried this exercise I used the first 10 graphic files from the ourebay pages because they are the same size in width and height.
  • 3. This link displays the pictures we are going to use in this exercise.
2 - ... and in the proper folders
  • 1. I created a folder named bridge.
  • 2. I placed the folder named bridge inside the "ft" folder.
  • 3. Inside the "bridge" folder, I created another folder named images.
  • 4. I placed (drag and drop) the 10 graphic files inside the images folder.
  • 5. The names of the graphic files I used are: DSC9663.jpg, DSC9665.jpg, DSC9680.jpg, DSC9690.jpg, DSC9696.jpg, DSC966398.jpg, DSC9703.jpg, DSC9704.jpg, DSC9707.jpg, and DSC9708.jpg

568 Create a web photo gallery
  • There are eight steps to this exercise
  • 1. (Optional) Select the file or folder you want to use for Adobe Bridge.
               • Your images will be presented in the order in which they're displayed in Bridge.
               • If you'd rather use a different order, change the order in Bridge.
  • 2. Do one of the following:
               • In Adobe Bridge, choose Tools > Photoshop > Web Photo Gallery.
               • In Photshop, choose File > Automate > Web Photo Gallery.
  • 3. Choose a style for the gallery from the Styles pop-up menu.
              A preview of the home page for the chosen style appears in the dialog box.
  • 4. (Optional) Enter an e-mail address as the contact information for the gallery.
  • 5. Choose the source files for your gallery from the Use menu.
  • Selected Images From Adobe Bridge
    Uses images you selected before opening the Web Photo Gallery dialog box.
  • Folder
         Uses images from folders you select using the Browse (Windows) or Choose (Mac OS) buttons.
         Select Include All Subfolders to include images inside any subfolders of the selected folder.
