- An Applet connects two or more apps or devices together. It's an automation or integration/connection between two services that enables you to do something that those services couldn't do on their own.
- Applets are composed of triggers and actions.
- Triggers tell an Applet to start, and actions are the end result of an Applet run.
- To use an Applet, you'll need to create a free IFTTT account. Then you'll need to connect your apps and devices to IFTTT, so we can help them talk to each other.
- The name or acronym "IFTTT" comes from "if this, then that".

I have three different types of bulbs that can be used with IFTTT.
Philip Hue and Philip Wiz Connected
Philip Hue requires a hub, while Philip Wiz does not.
Philip Hue and Philip Wiz each have their own separate IFTTT service with their own list of services.
I also have a Teckin LED Smart Bulb, model SB50, that uses the Smart Life app.

However only 8 of them are for Wyze Camera.
This particular Wyze Camera does not have the access to cloud storage.
- So the "Record a short video clip" option will not work.

Trigger Monkey (Routine)
- This action will trigger the Monkey you specify including any parameters you set.
- Use it to trigger Alexa routines!
Display video
- This action will send a video to your screen enabled Alexa/Echo device.
- Ensure you open the Voice Monkey Skill as the final action in your routine.
- Your videos must be in MP4 format, hosted on a publicly accessible host with an https URL.
Display image
- This action will send an image to your screen enabled Alexa/Echo device.
- Ensure you open the Voice Monkey Skill as the final action in your routine.
- Images must be hosted on a publicly accessible host with an https URL.
Make announcement
- This action will make an announcement on your Alexa/Echo device using the text you supply.
- Ensure you open the Voice Monkey Skill as the final action in your routine.
- Text can be dynamic e.g. an ingredient from another IFTTT event or applet.

- What are ingredients?
  - Ingredients are pieces of data from a Trigger.
  - Ingredient values are automatically found by IFTTT using certain aspects of your device and/or firmware.

Smart Life Test - blinks the 2 Living Room lights and turns Top Bulb to Red.
Test Reset On - individually sets Living Room lights and Top Bulb brightness to 100%, and turns on the Wyze Camera

Log into your Amazon.com
Hoover over the "Hello, Name; Account & Lists" button
- This will display the "Buy it again", "Your Lists", and "Your Account" menu
- From the "Your Account" column, select "Content & Devices"
- this will display the "Manage Your Content and Devices" Toolbar, with the focus on the first option: "Content"
the "Manage Your Content and Devices" - toolbar has 4 tabs, Content, Devices, Preferences, Privacy Settings
- select "Devices"
Two categories are then displayed,
1. Amazon devices (with the number of devices displayed within parentheses)
2. Amazon apps installed on devices (with the number of apps installed displayed within parentheses)
Within the "Amazon devices" category, are three icons representing: Echo, Fire TV, Smart Home
- select Echo (which also displays the number of devices within parentheses)
- another window opens displaying your Echo Devices
- this does not display other devices such as lights, smart plugs, or cameras

I haven't yet figured out how I found the alexa.amazon.com website

I found from that link is this website: alexa.amazon.com
This site lists all my devices and lets me know if they are currently online.
Can I get to this data with IFTTT, or any API calls, with the goal of Alexa saying my list of devices and what is their current status.
This might be helpful for diagnostic purposes.
